Okay so of all the photos in my last BLOG, I forgot to include one of an actual fish. Here is a typical 11-inch wild Brown Trout from the Root River. Not only are they beautiful, but they love to jump when you look them.
The water and fish up there remind me alot of the driftless region I've been to up in Iowa. A beautiful area and one that any small stream trout fisherman owes it to himself to pay a visit to.

ReplyDeleteI agree. Actually, we were only about 20 miles from Iowa when we were there. All looks pretty similar.
